Small diner. Friendly staff and helpful. Stopped in for breakfast before a ride. Serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner all day long. Menu has a lot to choose from. Desserts look amazing.

A few friends and I stopped by Candy's on a Saturday morning for a late breakfast/early lunch. Candy's was full, but we were quickly seated. I ordered the Farmhand (omelet over a bed of home fries, peppers, and sausages and smothered in gravy) - an excellent recommendation from our waitress. My three friends ordered other breakfast foods, and they all enjoyed it. The four of us split a giant pancake for dessert. It was great and was perfect for four people to split (a quarter of their pancake is a similar size to the pancakes I'm used to!)
The service was phenomenal. Our waitress told us stories, was sassy, and kept our table well-stocked with coffee, condiments, and whatever else we needed. As expected, our food was heavy but everything tasted fresh and home cooked. In the end our bill was much less that what we expected to pay for a meal with this caliber of service and amount of food. -

Good food. Vacationing from out of town. Typical local diner. Just what we expected and hoped for.

Do you like living with regret? Then you should definitely bypass this diner. You not stop. You should not order the 8" diameter fluffy oatmeal pancakes with the homemade maple syrup. You should not order the "Farmhand" - a cheesy omelet laid to rest over crispy-tender home fries, peppers, tomatoes, sausage, and lovingly drowned in the best sausage gravy this side of I81. Keep driving. But know that someday, on your deathbed, not stopping at Candy's Diner will fall right between wishing you'd spent more time with the grandkids and wishing you'd finished up that last season of Gray's Anatomy.

What a great place! Kind of tucked away in a small town but I'll tell you we had a great breakfast which they serve all day. I ordered my usual then wished I hadn't as the other food coming out looked so good. I wanted to order the menu! Big plus for me was the fried potatoes. Delicious! Eggs cooked just right and they had rye toast! Perfect day for me. Be careful though, breakfast all day ends at 2:00 pm because that's when they close
